We had the most wonderful time with a group of our friends and family at our couple's shower in New Braunfels hosted by Meredith and Wayne Thoms, Danielle and Stephen Allen, Becky and John Spiekerman, and Krista and Jay Reyna. They amazingly had everything beautifully decorated in our little girl's colors and everyone seemed to have a blast. In addition to the hostesses (except Krista since she just gave birth to a beautiful little boy!), in attendance were grandma and grandpa Fohn, grandma and grandpa James, Aunt Stacey, Uncle Scott, Uncle Brent, Aunt Lauren, Uncle Matt, Krista and Trey Moffatt, Denise and Gary Mobbs (and Taylor and Timberley) and Jana Sensat. Thank you to everyone for coming and thank you so much to our wonderful hosts for all of their hard work!!!

San Angelo Shower - July 19, 2008 (6 1/2 months of pregnancy)
On Saturday, July 19th, Doug's family hosted a baby shower for us in San Angelo. It was a wonderful shower with lots of great family and friends. Our little girl is going to be very well outfitted with all the goodies we got. Some very special gifts were the two quilts - one made by great-grandma Fuchs and one made by great-grandma Fuchs, great-aunt Doris, and grandma Fohn. Great-aunt Cathy made a beautiful diaper cake using our little girl's colors - lavendar and blue. Thanks to all of the hostesses - Doris, Gayle, Loretta, Joanna, Cathy, and Judy.
Girls Weekend
Meredith, Danielle and I have gotten together for a slumber party weekend about twice a year since we graduated from A&M. It has been a great way to stay in close touch. This summer's was the best ever b/c Danielle and I are both pregnant (Danielle with twins - one boy and one girl) and Meredith has been able to guide us through the whole process with the best advice! Stacey joined us this summer too with her pregnant belly. So, we were a spectacle around town carting around 4 little babies in bellies! We had a blast!
